Antique Queen Size Italian Carved Walnut Bed

Richly hand-carved of walnut about 1910, this graceful bed fits standard modern queen size bedding. The original finish is excellent in a warm brown color, there are shrinkage separations due to age, see photos.
Hand-carved raised panels show stunning artistry, characteristic of the Piedmont area of Italy around Milan.
Original odd-size side rails are included, but the bed has been adapted with modern steel side rails to queen dimensions. Measurements are 84" long, 5 1/2' wide, the headboard is 52" tall and the footboard is 32" tall.
