Art Deco Carved Pair of Nightstands

This magnificent authentic Art Deco pair of nightstands or bedside tables was carved in Italy about 1925. The matched walnut "oyster" burl is beautiful.
The gleaming finish is excellent, enhancing the gracefully curved fronts, crafted by a master cabinetmaker in the Milan area of northern Italy.
This stellar antique true right and left pair has the usual slight irregularities and separations characteristic of intricate natural burl wood. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints. Hardware with bakelite mounts and piano hinges are original.
Measurements are 19" wide, 15" deep and 25 1/2" tall.
