What appears to be an Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak hall table has "secret" doors that slide up to reveal a hidden jewel safe.
Furniture from about 1910, the deep brown lustrous finish is in excellent condition on solid oak. The back is also finished and has a matching door that raises and slides inward. There are bookshelves at both ends.
On the iron safe is original pinstriping and wooden compartments inside. The combination is included, and the lock mechanism appears old but not original. Signed "Sargent & Greenleaf, Nickolas, Kentucky," the combination works well.
Crafted in America, this antique has minor mars and shrinkage separations from age, see photos. Dimensions are 36" wide, 24" deep and 30" tall.
