Richly carved and gracefully curved, this finely crafted 1935 era bedroom set includes a full size bed, tall chest, dresser and mirror plus nightstand.
Matched exotic "acacia" burl has an excellent satiny finish. Only signed, "Acacia," this distinctive set is almost certainly by "Romweber of Indiana," famous maker for the White House and countless celebrities.
Dovetailed drawers have original cast embossed brass pulls on this American made furniture.
The bed fits a standard modern full size mattress as shown. We include an upholstered pallet or "bunky board" to use instead of an innerspring unit under a mattress - this keeps the bedding from being so tall, hiding the headboard. A spring unit still can be used if desired, raising the overall height. Size is 79" long 58" wide, the headboard is 50" tall, and the footboard is 14" tall.
Tall chest size is 38" wide, 20" deep and 54 1/2" tall.
The wide dresser has a removable attached mirror on adjustable brackets, measurements are 65" wide, 22" deep and 79" tall.
Nightstand dimensions are 20" wide, 15" deep and 29" tall.
