The matched mahogany has a polished original finish in superb condition.
The writing surface slides out, revealing an interior with secret drawers, an inlaid marquetry door, and 3 compartments below.
The roll has brilliantly matched flame grain mahogany, and opens smoothly. Hand dovetailed drawers have matched fronts, columns and serpentine curves are elegant and graceful. Everything fits well on this fascinating antique furniture dating from about 1910.
Dimensions are 40" wide, 24" deep, 45" tall, and the writing surface is 30 1/2" above the floor.
