Crafted in the fabled Black Forest where Switzerland, France and Germany meet, this bookcase cabinet is fit for the grandest of homes, with roaring lion heads and deeply carved detailing.
- 1880s antique furniture from the Black forest region
- Beautiful deep hand sculpting in solid oak with mythological faces & fruits
- Top surface has been refinished for durability. The rest of the original finish has been waxed and buffed, preserving minor mars. All that is needed to maintain the soft luster is an occasional wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
- Shrinkage separations from age - see photos
