Crafted of quarter sawn oak about 1900 for a lawyer's office, this 18 drawer file cabinet is modular and stacking, similar to bookcases of the era.
The finish is in excellent condition on this furniture signed on a brass plaque, "Brown, Treacy & Sperry, St. Paul," Minnesota. The bottom three pulls and label holders are slightly different, all are brass.
Two sections of drawers fit standard legal or letter size papers, 9 1/2" x 15" inside. Separate base and top sections complete this marvelous antique.
Overall size is 33" wide, 18" deep and 34" tall.
