Burl & Bronze King Size Bed with Nightstands

This king size bed with attached night stands has marquetry burl and banding with beautiful bronze mounts. Authentic hand-made antique furniture crafted about 1915, the finish is excellent with golden patina. There are natural irregularities especially in the burl panels - see photos.
Cast bronze pulls, feet and mounts are original, including the spectacular high relief plaque of a mother and baby. Drawers have hand-cut dovetails. The bedside tables are a true left and right pair, they swivel out of the way to make the bed. Black marble tops are very fine with small edge chips.
Expertly adapted to fit standard modern king size bedding, this is an outstanding bed. The headboard disassembles for easy moving.
Dimensions are 7' 3" long, the footboard is 80" wide and 38" tall, the headboard including the nightstands is 9' 5 1/2" wide and 7' 3" tall.
