A carpenter's woodworking workbench from about 1880 could serve as a kitchen island counter or a wine and cheese tasting table. Oak, pine and maple, this rugged table has wooden pegs and hand cut dovetail joints. There is a large clamp or vise with a giant wooden screw.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving loads of antique character - mars, wear and shrinkage separations from age, see photos.
The top lifts off of the rebuilt base for easier delivery.
Size is 100" long excluding the clamp, 105" overall, 22 1/2" wide and 36 1/2" tall.
