Carved Chinese Teak Trunk or Coffee Table
Lavishly hand carved in China in the 1930's, this teak trunk or chest depicts traditional courtly garden scenes, and would be a beautiful coffee table.
The warm finish is in excellent condition on this richly detailed furniture with lots of mars, repairs and shrinkage separations from age for character. An elaborate brass padlock and key are original on this unusually shaped piece.
Measurements of this intricate Asian chest are 36" long, 18" deep and 14" tall.
