Richly carved of solid fine grained oak, a Victorian period writing desk, dining or library table has two large self-storing draw leaves that extend at both ends.
This historic furniture recalls Renaissance English design from the era of Henry VIII, and dates from about 1900. The rich satiny finish is superb with warm antique patina. There are stately moldings and carved details, the trestle base supports 4 large dramatically turned legs.
Measurements of this substantial English antique are 40" wide, 30 1/2" tall and legroom is 24 1/2" high, when closed, length is 59" long, and with both mathing leaves pulled out into position, length is 9' total.
Chairs in photos are available separately.
