Carved Walnut Rosewood Marble Top Chest Dresser

Artistically hand-carved of walnut with matched rosewood panels, this beautiful marble top chest of drawers or dresser is in wonderful original condition. There are minor shrinkage separations due to age - see photos.

The glowing finish has lovely golden patina, there is a rough spot on the lower left side, see photos. Polished black marble is excellent with only tiny flakes at the edges. Hand dovetailed drawers have original embossed brasses, and the shaped and beveled mirror has the slightest smokiness to prove its age.

Dramatic antique furniture from about 1895, even the back legs are delicately carved. Dimensions are 49" wide, 24" deep, 7' 8" tall and the marble top is 42" high. Matching pieces are sold separately.
