Cherry 1890 Antique Corner Bookcase, Leaded Glass Door

A solid cherry corner bookcase from about 1890 has a leaded glass door and adjustable shelves.

The old finish has warm patina and is well preserved, see photos. Waxed and polished, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to preserve its soft luster.

Delicate shaped columns have carved Ionic capitals. The back is wainscoting, lower drawers have tiny hand cut dovetail joints. Hardware is original on this American made antique furniture.

Measurements are 54" tall and each side is 12" deep. The left side extends 40" from the corner and the right side extends 47" from the corner.
