This coffee table was born about 1860 as a Victorian library table and was shortened years ago to coffee table height after coffee tables were invented in the 1920's.
Solid walnut, there are square nails visible in the top. Drawers have hand cut dovetails.
The silky finish is excellent with glowing antique patina on this hand made American furniture. Dimensions are 48" long, 30" wide and 18" tall.
