Country Antique 1890 Screened Pie Safe Cupboard
A hand crafted country pie safe has traces of original paint from about 1890. Square nails and wooden pegs secure the joints of maple hardwood.
Screens ventilated fresh bakery and kept flies away. Rustic kitchen furniture from Minnesota, the finish has warm antique patina with wear, stains and losses.
Freshly waxed, only an occasional wipe with a dry soft cloth is needed to maintain its luster.
