Country French Pine Antique Carved Armoire

A magnificent genuine Country French armoire was hand carved of pine in the mid 1800's, in the King Louis Phillipe period.
The detail is remarkable, bouquets of carved flowers extend above the graceful raised panel doors. Moldings are all hand carved by a master artisan.
The finish is very fine with wonderful warm honey colored patina. There is lots of antique character - shrinkage separations, mars and wear, see photos.
A giant key operates the iron lock, hardware is original including the brass lift-off hinges. The crown is removable for easier handling, inside are removable shelves. Joints are secured by traditional carved wooden pegs.
Dimensions of this historic French furniture are 4' 10" wide, 22" deep, 7' 8" tall and the interior is 17 1/2" deep.
