Probably hand made about 1860 for an immigrant from northern Europe to come to America, a country pine trunk or blanket chest would make an interesting coffee table.

Hand cut dovetails at the corners are beautiful, the finish is excellent with just a few mars and stains for antique character. Iron bindings and handles are original, inside is a small compartment for valuables.

Measurements of this rustic furniture are 36" long, 20" deep and 19" high.
