A classic New England "six board chest" has hand-cut dovetail joinery, and would make a nice blanket trunk or coffee table. Inside is a small compartment for valuables.

The satiny finish is excellent with glowing patina and just enough mars and wear for a little character. Every surface is hand-planed on this lovely antique from the 1840's. The lock does not operate.

Size of this American furniture is 43" long, 23" wide and 23" tall.
