This style of country primitive cupboard was often called a "bucket bench," not for seating but for crockery and milk bowls to let the cream rise and be skimmed off for butter.
Hand crafted of maple, the old finish has warm patina and just enough mars and wear for antique character. Waxed and buffed, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its luster. Drawers on this American made farmhouse furniture have hand cut dovetail joints.
