Curved Biedermeier 1910 Antique German Mahogany Desk

Sleek and beautiful "Biedermeier" design is distinctive on this mahogany desk from Germany.
The satiny finish is in superb condition, the solid mahogany top has a rim to catch rolling pens. Locks work and the key is a handle on hand dovetailed drawers and doors that swing on brass piano hinges, inside are tray drawers with oak sides on the front side and two doors revealing bookshelves on the back. Since the photos, these two doors have been fitted with magnets to keep the doors closed and the locks disabled as they were not working properly. They are easy to pull open without the use of a key.
Measurements of this sophisticated and understated antique furniture are 5' long, 33" deep, 30" tall and the knee hole is 24" high.
