This alluring set of china was used to serve the fish course in a serious dinner, and each piece has a different vivid fish design. There is an oval platter, 4 individual plates (plus one more with 2 chips and a hairline crack - see photo) and a sauceboat with attached underplate.
Signed "Schlaggenwald" from the famous Bohemian spa town of Marienbad, this elegant antique ensemble is hand decorated, and dates from about 1920.
There is very light wear to these charming pieces, and a little rubbing to the gold on the sauce. The platter is 19 1/2" long and 8" wide, the plates measure 9 3/4" and the sauceboat is 10" long and 4 1/2" tall.
This set can be shipped with insurance, Priority Mail within the Continental US for $35.00.
