The ultra cool upholstery is original on the chairs of this 1960's signed "Drexel" Midcentury Modern dining set.
Six chairs include 2 with arms, all are tight and solid with comfortable attached pillows. Fabulous vintage fabric of chenille stripes on an iridescent burgundy background has remarkably little wear. Backs are matched grain walnut, the finish is very fine with a few scuffs and mars, see photos.
Two armchairs are 23" wide, 26" deep, 41" tall and seats are 18" high, four side chairs are 22" wide.
There are three original 12" wide folding leaves for the shaped table and there is metal inlay on the curving pedestals. The top has been revarnished for durability.
Measurements for the table when closed are 64" long, 42" wide and 29 1/2" tall, with all three leaves in place, length is 8' 4" total.
