From the Empire period, this elegant sofa has a beautiful carved base and crest plus stylized "swan" shaped arms.
- American antique 1840s furniture
- Matched flame grain mahogany frame is reglued to serve another generation
- Old varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish
- Minor mars, losses, surface irregularities, & shrinkage separations - see photos
- Recent upholstery has been cleaned and is unworn
Size is 83" wide, 27" deep, and 39" tall with seat 22" deep and 19" high.
