Expertly crafted in the English Tudor manner about 1925 by the "Empire Furniture Co. of Rockford, Ill.," this richly detailed oak sideboard or server was intended as a hunt board for a supper buffet of smoked meats and cheeses served after hunting.
Also useful as a wide screen TV console or bar cabinet, it has original hammered coppery hardware.
The gleaming finish is in excellent condition on this superior quality antique furniture. A wide drawer has solid oak dovetailed sides.
