A wonderful inlaid hall or linen chest or dresser from about 1950 reflects traditional Hepplewhite design, and is signed "Fancher of New York."
Mahogany with an elegant inlaid marquetry shell and satinwood banded drawers, the front has a deeply serpentine "oxbow" shape.
The gleaming finish is in excellent condition, enhancing the richly figured grain. Dovetailed large drawers have original embossed brasses on this American crafted vintage furniture.
Dimensions are 48" wide, 22" deep and 35" tall.
