Used to bring all of one's belongings on the long journey to a new life, this immigrant chest or trunk would be a perfect rustic addition to any home.
- Scandinavian antique furniture dated 1757, hand painted initials and inscribed for "Minnesota"
- Farmhouse hand crafted dome top trunk
- Solid pine with interior compartment for valuables
- Original finish has been waxed and buffed, preserving mars, losses, & shrinkage separations. All that is needed to maintain the soft luster is an occasional wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
- Hand wrought iron hardware is original
- Missing lock
