The northwest region of France is home to the Brittany province, famous for its highly-skilled artisans. This sideboard, cupboard or bar shows of the masterful skills of its crafters, displaying scenes of traditional village life.
- 1890s antique French furniture stunningly hand carved of oak
- Bride and groom sculptures, intended as a wedding dowry piece
- Traditional wooden shoes, village perspectives and spindle grillwork
- Top surface has been refinished for durability. The rest of the original finish has been waxed and buffed, preserving mars. All that is needed to maintain the soft luster is an occasional wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
- Wormholes & warped doors from age - see photos
- Patinated brass hardware is original, two keys are handles only
- Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints
- Top section shelves are adjustable, all shelves are removable
- Gallery in middle for displaying fine china or liquor bottles
