This sideboard or TV console is traditional furniture from Brittany, France, a region known for its fantastic folk art carvings and spindle decoration.
- 1910s antique French furniture
- Solid oak with hand carved scenes of villagers bringing in the fall harvest
- Top surface has been refinished for durability. The rest of the original finish has been waxed and buffed, preserving minor mars. All that is needed to maintain the soft luster is an occasional wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
- Shrinkage separations from age - see photos
- Patinated iron hardware is original
- Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints
- Working double throw locks with two keys
- Wood shelf
Size is 71" wide, 20" deep and 43" tall.
