This palatial mahogany polished dining table includes a classic Georgian Chippendale design table with three matching leaves that can extend 12' 8" long.
The top is magnificent matched flame or "cathedral" grain mahogany enclosed by spectacular banding in exotic rosewood, ebony, yew and satinwood. Supported by two large carved solid mahogany "birdcage" pedestals, each with four brass feet.
There are three matching 22" wide leaves with skirts or aprons. Size is 52" wide, almost 30" tall, legroom is 25 1/2" underneath and 86" long when closed, with all three leaves in place, the table is 12' 8'" long.
This dining table is a modern reproduction or replica of 18th Century Georgian or Federal Period furniture. These famous designs are prestigious classics, which are new or almost new from famous American table makers. Sometimes they are from designer showrooms, furniture trade shows, or custom order cancellations and are offered at a price far less than furniture stores, and therefore the original signatures are removed by the makers before we receive them.
After carefully inspecting these traditional tables and fine chairs, they are polished as needed. There are only very tiny mars or scratches, and we proudly present this historic and impeccable furniture at extraordinary savings.
Chairs are priced separately, the table easily accommodates 12.
