A feathered bird, probably a canary, sings its song in a brass cage, signed "Made in Germany" from the 1930's.
The wind up mechanism is in excellent working order, there is a switch on the base. Embossed brass, the cage has a hanging ring or can stand for a table.
Size of this picturesque mechanical bird and cage is 7" diameter and 13 1/2" tall.
