A lawyer or barrister needed a bookcase that could handle the weight and constant use of law books. These stacking Craftsman era bookcases quickly became popular and now have many functions.
- 1910s antique furniture signed "Globe-Wernicke"
- Oak with original brass knobs & patinated side straps
- Old varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish
- Minor mars & shrinkage separations from age - see photos
- 3 of 4 glass doors are original wavy glass
- Disassembles into six stacking pieces
Size is 34" wide, 12" deep and 66" tall. Shelf size is 8" deep and 11" high.
