The original paper label "Gustav Stickley, Craftsman Workshop, NY" is mostly intact under the seat of this antique chair from about 1905.
Natural saddle leather upholstery is new, re-using the original square tacks. The original finish is very well preserved and has been waxed. Strong and tight, the solid quarter sawn oak frame has wooden pegs at the joints, characteristic of this world renowned maker.
