Jasper Vintage Secretary Desk & Lighted Bookcase, Mahogany & Marquetry #30670

A traditional Georgian design secretary desk with lighted bookcase top from about 25 years ago is signed "Jasper of Indiana." Mahogany with inlaid ebony and satinwood medallions and banding, brass hardware and working locks are original.

The restored deep finish is in excellent condition, preserving a few mars for a little character. American made vintage furniture, the drop front has "automatic" supports that extend.

Upper plate glass shelves are adjustable and have grooves to display plates. Lower drawers have dovetail joints.

Dimensions are 35 1/2" wide tip to tip, 19" deep, 83" tall and the desktop is 30" high.
