K. Kawai 5'9" Ebony Grand Piano & Bench

A classic 5'9" K. Kawai grand piano and bench in polished ebony appears like new and rarely played. There are only minute mars at the edges, see photos.

The polished finish and mahogany interior are what would be expected of Kawai, one of Japan's premier piano builders. The bass register is especially rich and resonant, and the action is firm like a brand new piano, although this instrument dates from 1982. The "K Kawai" signature is inlaid in brass above the keyboard, serial # is shown in photo, and there is also "KG-2D" on the iron frame.

Size is 5' wide, 5'9" long, and 39 1/2" tall when closed, and there are 2 raised positions for the wing. Under the bench lid is music storage, and dimensions are 33" long, 16" wide and 20" tall.
