Mah Jong 1920's Chinese Majong Game Set, Carved Bone, Rosewood Case

This "Mah Jong" game set was made in China during the "Majong" craze in the 1920's.
The hand made rosewood case is dovetailed and has nickel mounts, there is a shrinkage separation from age in the sliding door as shown - see photos. The finish and painting are original.
A sliding cover encloses five small drawers of pieces in bamboo and bone plus round painted metal counters. An English language instruction book has a 1924 printing date.
Size of the exquisite case is 9 1/2" wide, 7" deep and 7" tall.
