Mahogany 1910 Antique Empire Dresser or Chest, Beveled Mirror
This luxurious Empire chest or dresser from about 1910 has deeply carved lion paw feet, acanthus columns and flame finials.
The top of this antique mahogany furniture has been revarnished for durability, the rest is an original finish in very fine condition. Waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain its warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. The original oval beveled mirror has a little "smoke" to show its age.
Drawer fronts are gracefully curved and have dovetailed joints and original hardware on this American made furniture. Size is 51" wide, 24" deep, 68" tall and the top of the base is 33" high including removable wheels.
