Hand made in New England of 6 wide ash hardwood boards, this charming country blanket chest or trunk has loads of character - warps, stains and dings.
Some original nails are cut with faceted heads, and the wrought iron hinges are probably original on this nostalgic antique from about 1800.
Whether used at the foot of a bed or as a coffee table, this is very charming rustic furniture. Size is 40" long, 17" deep and 17 1/2" tall.
