A solid oak hall or dressing area stand has hand-carved scenes from nature on panels, including a butterfly, dogs, birds, chickens and swans. The original warm brown finish is very fine with warm patina and just enough wear for a little antique character. The artistry in these charming little scenes is remarkably artistic, each panel has faint green shadowing, see photos. There are some shrinkage separations from age, On top is a hat rack, nice for towels in a bathroom. Coat or robe knobs are original as well. This example of expert northern European artistry dates from about 1915. Measurements are 48" wide, 9" deep and 6' 4" tall. Matching pieces are priced and sold separately, call or email for availability.
