An early version of the recliner chair from about 1895, this "Morris" chair is solid quarter sawn oak, and has a 4 position tilt mechanism.
The finish is excellent with incised carving and lion paw feet, one back foot has an old repair, see photo.
Cushions and upholstery are modern and in very fine condition on this comfortable American antique furniture.
Measurements are 30" wide, 37" deep and 41" tall.
