Crafted about 1895 for an Illinois train depot, this long slant top desk is solid quarter sawn oak.
The deep finish is in excellent condition, preserving some dings and wear for antique character. Four large drawers have original carved pulls. The back of the desk has a gallery bookshelf on this American made office furniture.
Size of this rugged railroad station desk is just over 6' long, 33 1/2" deep, 38" tall and the desktop slopes up from 31 1/2" high at the front to 34" high at the back. Legroom is 24 1/2" underneath.
