This graceful and elegant oval table has Empire lines, we assume it was a library table in its first life, created about 1900, and was later shortened to coffee table height. The octagonal column is beautiful.
Inside the drawer, this antique is signed "Mers??n. Bros., Celina, Ohio." Mesmans? The gleaming deep finish is excellent with various repairs, mars and restorations over the years, see photos.
