Pair of Danish Karsten Teak Chairs and Stools

About ten years old, this sleek Midcentury designer pair of armchairs and matching footstools are by Christian Ditlev Karsten of Denmark. Crafted by "Holstebro Mobelfabrik," the original brochure is included with sale prices paid at the time of $1275 for each chair and $475 for each stool. Fabric is in exceptional condition, "Octav #1371 Emerald."
Solid teak frames are impeccable - strong and tight. These sleek chairs have a very comfortable angle. Karsten still operates a one man design studio on the Danish island of Odense. Born in 1950, he graduated as an architect in 1976. These stunning chairs measure 27" wide, 32" deep, 35" tall and seats are 17" high, angled stools are 19" wide, 18" deep and 15" tall.
