Hand crafted for an immigrant from Poland about 1870, this country pine trunk or chest has a curved or dome top.

Old worn paint has been preserved for antique character. Inside is a hand written inscription in Polish.

Wrought iron hardware is original, the lock does not work. Corners have hand cut dovetail joints, and size is 36" long, 19" deep and 19" tall.
