This "treasure chest" or trunk is made of beautiful rough-hewn mahogany, and looks like it belonged to a pirate.

Rugged country primitive furniture crafted with wooden pegs and wrought iron mounts, this dome-top trunk has timeless character - lots of mars and scars.

The finish is very fine on all four sides. Hand carved from ancient heavy planks, probably within the last 50 years, there is a small covered compartment inside. Dimensions are 4' long, 25" deep and 27" tall.
