The most famous music box maker in America created this sonorous player about 1899, signed "Regina of Rahway, NJ." The superior double comb mechanism has strong sound with rich warm tone and is superb condition, running quietly. All teeth are intact on both combs. A lever allows a single play or repeat play.
The solid mahogany case has an original trademark print under the lid of this American made antique instrument. The original finish is very well preserved, and has bee waxed and polished so all that is needed to maintain the warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
Ten 15 1/2" discs are included, Auld Lang Syne, Brothers in Arms, Whistling Rufus March, Swanee River - Old Folks at Home, The Band Played On, Rock of Ages, Ben Bolt, Wearing of the Green, The Honeysuckle and The Bee Song and The Belle of New York. More discs are available.
Size is 23" wide excluding the removable crank, 20" deep and 13" tall.
