Crafted of richly figured quarter sawn oak about 1900, a round dining table has six leaves and a gracefully shaped pedestal in the Empire manner. The signature reads "St. John's Tables, Cadillac," Michigan.
The deep restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture, enhancing the solid oak top. When extended, the shaped pedestal "splits," revealing a hidden center leg for extra stability.
Six 12" wide leaves fit well and have matching skirts or aprons. Measurements are 54" diameter, 30" tall, legroom is 26" and length with all six leaves in place is almost 10' 6" overall.
