Scandinavian Treasure Chest Dome Top Antique 1850 Era Trunk
A giant "treasure chest" trunk was hand carved of pine in Scandinavia in the middle 1800's. Old worn paint has been preserved with a clear satiny finish.
Wrought iron hardware is original, the lock is lost. Joints have hand cut dovetail joins, wooden pegs are used instead of nails on this rustic antique furniture. Inside is a covered compartment for valuables.
Size is 49" wide, 26" deep and 30" tall.
