A hand painted dial was salvaged from an 1820's tall case or grandfather clock and has been fitted with a new quartz battery movement.
The worn original painting includes the inscription by the maker, "David Craig, Perth," Scotland. Now a wall clock, date and second hands do not operate. A dovetailed wooden box on the back holds the movement.
The painting is crackled from age, charming scenes depict, "Neptune" at the top, also "Earth, Air, Water" and presumably, Fire.
Size of this antique clock is 13" wide, 19" deep and 2 1/2" deep.
