This set of four traditional "Windsor" design dining or game table armchairs is about 15 years old. The reason that Windsor chairs have been made for 300 years is not just that they are strong and comfortable, it is also because of their graceful shape and delicate curving lines.
This set retains its original "distressed" worn paint and varnish finish in very good condition. There is just enough wear for a little character, intended to look like antique furniture from centuries ago.
Carved of solid fruitwood, they are signed "Slovenjia Logatec," in Eastern Europe. Spindles around the back are pegged authentically through the curved frames. Wide seats are deeply sculpted for comfort, backs have a relaxed angle on this vintage set.
Dimensions are 24" wide, 23" deep, 38" tall and seats are 17" high.
