A magnificent set of deeply hand carved 1890's dining chairs include griffins plus lion heads on the armchairs. Newly padded and upholstered in soft elegant fabric, these large American made chairs are very comfortable.
High relief carving in solid quarter sawn oak on this historic furniture shows outstanding artistry. The rich glowing finish is excellent with warm antique patina on solid and rugged frames.
Both armchairs measure 27" wide, 25" deep, 49" tall and seats are 19" high. Four side chairs are 20" wide, 24" deep and 48" tall.
